Here's a better shot of the M37, at least it not in the garage!

No pictures but I did make my first repair of the season to the FZJ80 this afternoon. The air tube between the throttle body and the MAF had split on me last year (apparently its a common issue) causing the engine to stall when it was put in reverse. Two hose clamps and piece of 3" dia. x 4" long exhaust pipe and it was sleeved and back together. This means I can drive it out of the snow bank sometime next week after I get a battery back in it. Then its on to ordering some new birfs and looking at a permanent knuckle fix so that they don't come off anymore at inconvenient times...

For the same price as slee offroads arms you get the knuckles and six stud high steer arms.

The hellfire setup is vastly superior to Slee's setup. The hard part is getting ahold of Billy-bob to order a set... Do you know if he's got a website anymore, or just taking sales strictly from Pirate 4x4?

I finally got around to installing the new doubler crossmember from BCC for the '91 Yota. I'd had the wrong crossmember in there for years, this new one gives me about an inch more breakover clearance, and angles the drivline up a little better.

The next job is the ISR mod, which removes the intake silencer, and 90% of the air ducting from under the hood.

ISR mod is now complete, truck seems to breath easier. I don't know if it makes any more power, but the power it does have, it seems to make faster, and with better throttle response...

Now on to the new (to me) seats. My old seat was pretty much flattened out and unsupportive. The newer seats should be much better.

Nothing picture worthy about some used grey cloth seats, but they are sure comfy!

I started tearing down the new Taco rear end for the 'yota tonight. With any luck, it should be mostly stripped apart by tomorrow if it doesn't fight me too much... I'll post some pictures if I remember to take any.

Rear Elocker upgrade has officially begun... Very Happy

I've also managed to (tentatively) get my hands on some new drivetrain parts for the M37, so stay tuned for the winter upgrade!

All the needed drivetrain parts for the M37 upgrade have been acquired, save for one small adapter. I'll start a new post highlighting build and modification that's coming...
