I have created this forum based upon my experiences as an offroad enthusiast. I have reached a point in my hobby where I am not as interested in the club based wheeling as I once was. I also however don't feel like taking my life in my hands wheeling with the Bubba's again. I know that there is a happy medium somewhere, and hopefully it will come to exist with the members on this board.

As for the forum name, a lack of funds seems to be a common theme among us wheelers, whether its related to the price of fuel, the cost of tires, or a simple lack of time. How often we get out on the trails always seems to be dictated by funds we don't always have on hand. I'm a dedicated wheeler, I don't have any additional hobbies, other than wrenching on my rig, and I hope that at least some of the members here will feel the same way. I try very hard to not split my limited funds over too many hobbies; I prioritize my quality trail time with my family over other interests. I figure its better to do one thing well, than five things half-assed...

Excellent Ray, and very well put. My rig has been on blocks since I started with the railway.... but that may change soon, and give me a normal life back enjoying wheeling with yourself and other like minded individuals!!
