Again in the N.BC backroad mapbook, found this trail network about 15kms north of Bear lake on the right side of the highway - looks like several loop trail networks that may have some promise...

I think I might try to focus most of my exploration to the N.E. this year. Lots of area, close to home, and lots of trails in the mapbook...
