current weapon of choice

86 samurai long wheel base
- toy axles with all the goodies locked front and rear and wheelbase stretched four inches over stock
-modded tracker power steering
-tracker 1.6 8v in there currently till my new dohc 9000 redlined motor is ready
-early 85 production tranny with the lower first gear and trailtoughs unbreakable tranny mounts
-t-case is a 84 sj410 housing modded to fit newer 6.5-1 gear set with a low range t-case spine and custom cradle. solid mounted with aluminum mounts. running rockrat outputs to bolt up toy cv shafts.
-m6000 winch with tmr fair lead mounts.
- subaru master cylinder up grade.
- 36 inch iroks

future mods

-install wider ifs axle and front hubs and lower it two inches
- install proper bumpers and signal light assemblies as well as my new highline fender flares
-get it rolling on the nitto all terrians

other samurais in the works
the betty project- tubed out lwb with a 1.6 turbo diesel and toy trans and cases on fox coil overs on tons- need to get it to the new home and start bending tube!!!!!
lowrider sj410 daily driver previous owner had it set up for no lift and 35s- swapping over to the newer 413 frame and toy axles

i have other samis all in a state of disassemble or stripped including another lwb but its a early production 85 so it had the narrow track sj410 axles under it.

its about twenty minutes south of houston. we have a larger boulder field (40 acres possibly) just out of town thirty minutes in a differant direction that me and jay have been eyeballin and planning to hit all winter long. google earth shows a large debris field with logging roads on three sides. camping at nearby lakes is apparently possible but is unconfirmed by us. im hoping for at least a half a dozen insane trails. but for that to happen this year we may need to orginize trailcutting/rockstacking days.
