gas price per litre - surrey bc

was in the lower mainland this past weekend . had to gas up my rental car before returning it to the VCR airport on Sunday . price per litre 151.9 - 87 octane @ a Petrocan station 152nd street and Fraser highway .
our price here in PG is a bargain @ 137.9 per litre today .

Its about time! Every time I've been down there, they've had cheaper gas than us, and that's including the hefty transit tax that they have to pay. They get good roads, best infrastructure, and they figure they are the only people who live in the province. I don't feel sorry for them one bit.

i would be interested in hearing [ from those in the know other than a politican ] the logical correlation between the cost of a barrel of oil and the price per litre at the pump less the imposed taxes .
it's difficult to understand how a cost per litre can jump 5-8 cents overnight here in PG other than us being gouged ???

The one that gets me is the penny. Gas was $1.32 and I asked how much it would be for 1L of gas and the gas station rounded it down and said they would charge me $1.30 so when I asked why I am charged $1.32 for 100L she could not explane next time you go to the station ask for 100 transactions of 1L each and pay cash

Just ask how much you would be charged for one litre of fuel next time your there?
